Public transport

Airplane:
From airport Amsterdam "Schiphol" there are trains to Duivendrecht (15 minutes travel). From Duivendrecht station you take the metro to the AMC (5 minutes). Alternatively, if you have some time left, you can go via Amsterdam Central station, then again taking the metro to "Gein".

Metro:
At Duivendrecht station take line 50 (direction Gein) or line 54 (also direction Gein) and exit at metro station "Holendrecht". From there it is a 250 meter walk to the main entrance of the AMC. At Amsterdam Central Station only line 54 is available. See maps.

Bus:
Busses 59, 60 and 61 have a stop at the hospital entrance. Bus 29 stops at the metro station Holendrecht

Train:
When travelling by train it is possible to take the metro to "Gein" from several stations. The most important stations are:

• Amsterdam Central Station (metro line 54)
• Amstel Station (metro line 54)
• Sloterdijk Station (metro line 50)
• Duivendrecht Station (metro lines 50 and 54)
• Bijlmer Station (metro lines 50 and 54)

Personal transport

Car:
The AMC is signposted in both directions of the motorways A2 and A9. Free parking (when visiting a congress or a meeting) at parking lot P2, P3, P4 and P5. Attention: The parking at the entrance of the hospital is paid parking (P0) First 3 hours: f 1,00. After 3 hours: f 0,50 per quarter of an hour. Be aware that driving to and around Amsterdam during peak hours will not be one of your most pleasant experiences. If possible, we recommend you to come by public transport. Again see section on maps.
